The kids had a blast at their buddy's birthday party. Jackson is the big 0-1 and the kids had a wonderful time at his party. They also enjoyed their first cupcake experience.
Malia was all about eating the yellow icing on her cupcake. Michael dug right into his orange cupcake. We ended up having an impromptu bath at Jackson's house after this.
Aunt Natalie is taking her big test soon. To wish her luck, the kids decided to take a photo pretending to take a test. They were very successful, as I'm sure Aunt Natalie will be.
Now that Michael is crawling and standing very well, we always wake up to the kids chit-chat. It means they wake up earlier, but they also wake up happy.
We decided to try some finger foods today. The kids had graham crackers, diced ham, wagon wheels, and frozen green beans. Later in the evening they had buttered toast. I keep a close eye on them, but they seem to do really well.
When I was little we used to say "I'm bored!" a lot even though there was so much fun stuff we could be doing. When I saw this picture, it made me think of those days.
