Trip to the Zoo

Jenna, Eli, and I made a trip to the zoo this weekend. The weather was great, but the crowds were awful.

When we got back to Jenna's house, I picked up Chewy to head home. I forgot my camera so I had to run back in to get it. When I came back to the car Chewy decided he wanted to drive us home.

Keep running, running, and running, running....

The Nike+iPod device is really cool. Here is the information from my first time using it. Remember, I am walking and running. Also, my 5 minute warm up and cool down are also in this "run".

Happy Birthday Rachel!

I didn't get a picture of Kennedy, but here are Madison and Eli.
Rachel's birthday is close to two of her friends' birthdays so they each had a cake.

Rockin' the Suburbs

Jason's dad, Kevin, is in a band that played at the St. Brendan's Festival this weekend. Tom and Kris were in town and were able to see him perform. We had so much fun listening and dancing in our seats. Check out the video clip of one of the songs.

Still running....

I'm still running. I am on week 2 of the c25k program. After talking with a couple of people I am going to invest in the Nike + ipod device. I also am planning on getting some shoes that I will designate for just running. It's hard to imagine that I will be ready to run a 5K at the end of October.

The Litzinger Zantopulos Wedding!

Beautiful weather for an outdoor wedding. The view at Confluence Park Restaurant was amazing.
Everyone enjoyed hanging out with the kids. Eli slept a lot during the event and Mackenna enjoyed playing with bubbles and dancing the night away.

It was a beautiful ceremony and reception. The speeches had everyone in tears. Sara and Adam looked wonderful and very much in love. I just love weddings!

Sit on this!

Here's a recent picture of Chewy. His tongue is always out!
Jason and I built this bench/table this weekend. The back rotates up into a tabletop.

You are a Pirate

The Friday concert was great. Tons of kids were there and danced to the pirate tunes. They have another concert on Sunday at 6pm. You should go, they are a lot of fun.

Jason has a fighting scene. Don't worry - he won on Friday. I hope he also wins on Sunday. :)

The tomatoes are finally ripening!

Get off your butt!

I decided I'm going to train to run 5K. Jason and I ran in Race for the Cure this year, but we didn't train for it. Bad idea! So I'm going to try again. This time I'm going to train for it. A friend of mine told me about c25k and I'm going to do that program with a podcast that times your intervals. Now that it's out in the open I hopefully with follow through. Wish me luck!

Going private

I'm going to make this blog private in August. If you want to keep reading it (which I have no problem with) send me an email and I'll put you on the list.
If you follow this blog - then I already know you read it. I'll put you on the list for sure.

Weekend in northern Ohio

Wedding shower in Avon Lake = Excuse to go to Cedar Point

Don't mind my chins :)

One of these things is not like the other....

So I haven't checked out my little garden for over a week and I found three zucchini today. Two HUGE ones and one tiny one. I made chocolate zucchini bread last time. I think I'll make regular this time. I'll probably ask for any good recipes, so go ahead and post them or email me them.

We didn't start the fire....

Okay, maybe we did. This was our first time using the fire pit. It works wonderfully and we are looking forward to many fires in the future.

Introducing Elijah Duffy Caldwell

I snuck a picture of Jenna while she was on the way to her post-partum room.

He is so cute!

They are so happy. What a great family picture!

Eli is here!!!!!

Eli was born at 8pm (7/7/09 8pm). Jenna and Keith are doing well. We haven't had a chance to see Jenna or Eli. Keith came out to tell us that Eli has lots of long black hair and that he was 7lbs and 10 ounces. Jenna did really well. She went from 6cm to 9cm in 30 minutes. That girl is amazing!!!! I can't wait to see all 3 of them together!!! Well done Caldwell family.

No news.....

Still waiting......

Eli is coming.....please wait.....

Jenna and Keith are at the hospital right now. I can't wait to see Eli!

Joan and Frank Visit

Frankie is in town for a football camp for the weekend. Last night we spent the evening hanging out with Joan and Frank and Manni (their dog). Frankie is enjoying the camp so far, and Joan is very impressed with the staff running the camp. Joan is going to help Dad fix up the patio and Mom got a new grill to put on the patio once it's ready to enjoy. I'll post another picture once it's complete.
